Welcome to my author website. The first sentence I ever wrote was in second grade. When Mrs. Wilkinson asked what kind of animal we would like to be, I wrote without hesitation that I wanted to be a bird so that I could fly. Seven years later I started taking flying lessons at the age of fourteen. I have been an airline pilot, a professor of aviation, and a pediatric physical therapist. I have written about flying, health care, disability issues, and even about the lessons I learned from my childhood cat.
